During this workshop we will play with various approaches to creating movement dialogue.
We will explore the expressive possibilities of the body in relation to space, to other people and our inner lands. In the workshop, we will explore the various principles of movement grammar and sentence structure, which will allow us to communicate more clearly during dialogue, remaining free in our intuitive, individual and unique expression. We will explore the story that arises from the movement dialogue with our dance partner and the possibilities of dialogue with our inner world and the ideas located in it. We allow our body to enter our imaginations and express itself through movement. We will meet in the dance pit with the possibility of integrating the learned techniques of the workshop in the spontaneous flow of dancing bodies.
During quarantine, many experienced deprivation of physical contact and dance with other people. For some, it could be a refreshing feeling, leading to our center, where we could come into closer contact with our deeper selves and our energy potential. For others, however, it could be an unpleasant experience, leading to a greater desire for contact and dancing together. In this workshop we can test how far we feel comfortable with other people and with ourselves after this experience.
