Světlana Kim

Svetlana is a multi-disciplinary artist and embodiment practitioner. Her polyvalent background spans arts, communication, and business.

Dance has been an anchoring practice throughout Svetlana’s life. In childhood she trained in Russian classical ballet and later explored other styles -Jazz, RnB, hip-hop, Contemporary, Brazilian Zouk, modern Street, etc. It was, however, with the discovery of meditation and free-flow movement, such as 5 Rhythms, Ecstatic Dance, authentic movement, as well as the works of Mary Stark Whitehouse, Gabriel Roth, Pina Baush, Steve Paxton, et al., when her practice evolved. Dance and body became not only vehicles for artistic expression, but a research method to explore life.

The core topics of Svetlana’s interest are those of mindful living, collective & personal well-being, value-based leadership, and how these can be integrated in the quotidien through embodiment, meditation and art. In her creations Svetlana likes to bring elements from diverse disciplines and connect the dots.

Today Svetlana explores the improvisation aspects of dance, its therapeutic benefits, the concept of somatic movement & embodied flow, as well as the relationship between the language and the body. Meditation, movement and text are all in the toolkit of her creative space. She is a trained facilitator in Inner Dance, a Neuromindfulness practitioner (ICF accredited), the author of projects MBody Lab and The Sacred Language of Dance.

Svetlana believes in a role our inner creators have to play in the individual and collective change, and in art as both a social (even political) activism and an alchemical process, synchronising the material and the spiritual planes and promoting integrity.

MBody Lab is the space created for exploration of life in movement and flow where both questions and answers can be found and experienced through the body.
We tap into a broad array of topics and every time enter the practice with a different question/concept to move with. Our inquiry engages various tools to activate somatic intelligence: mindfulness meditation, dance improvisation, authentic movement, breathwork, writing and other creative & reflective methods. Sharing in dialogues or circles is also a part of the process.

Besides research, MBody Lab is also a place of just being for yourself, with yourself & others, with no judgement.
A place for playing, sensing, discovering, reclaiming and reintegrating your various parts - to get a glimpse into an expanded, perhaps more wholesome version of yourself.

Feeling Sound / Igor and Arianna /

Feeling Sound’s main focus is on the use of the voice as a therapeutic instrument and a source of self discovery. By studying the art of sound and communication, how we use, choose and feel our sounds, thoughts and words, we create better relationships with ourselves and other beings.

Dutchborn singer and multi instrumentalist Igor Ezendam is an acknowledged performer and teacher of vocal harmonics, inspired by soul music, shamanic chanting, Blues, tibetan undertones and Sufi mantras, as well as music from australian aboriginal, african and indian traditions. Next to his concerts, Igor offers Vocal Liberation and Overtone Singing seminars, as well as individual Voice Coaching and Sound Massage sessions.

Italian born Arianna Artioli is a Yoga teacher, a Wellbeing advocate, lover of Nature, Native traditions, sacred songs and dances, psychosomatics, empathic communication, personal and community growth, permaculture and vegetarian cuisine. During the seminars and in private sessions, she shares her wisdom through her experience with emotional healing processes.

Igor and Arianna's decade of touring with their original musical sessions has touched the hearts and minds of many people along the way. With their caring presence, they create a safe space in which compassionate feedback and practical suggestions for improvement are mixed with poignant humor and emotional sensitivity.

This formula has helped hundreds of people feel free, alive and empowered to use their voice more and more. Part of the work includes inner child care, transforming old traumas and letting go of conditioning, truthful processing and mirroring, so that love and vital energy can flow freely once again. Being part of one of their retreats is a truly liberating experience.

Pierre Ravan

DJ, producer, certified Yoga teacher, Heartfulness Meditation trainer, high-end fashion collaborator and global club-headliner.

It’s fair to say Pierre Ravan has done more than most during his three decades in dance music.

Impressively, Pierre is one of the first to combine feel-good music, Yoga and Heartfulness meditation into his KaRavan concept. Often billed as the first Spiritual House DJ in the world, his KaRavan concept combines yoga, meditation and open-hearted music into one session, creating true dancefloor unity.

And it’s been hugely successful. He’s been head-hunted to work alongside the UAE and Indian Governments. And he’s a big draw at festivals, having taken his KaRavan concept to Defected Croatia, Sunburn in Goa and International Yoga festivals. The KaRavan concept has also been translated into 10 compilation albums that perfectly encapsulate his blend of dancefloor spirituality.

Alongside that, Pierre is one of the most important DJs in the fashion world. It’s almost quicker to list the names he’s not worked with, having created fashion catwalk soundtracks for Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Jean-Paul Gaultier and the first-ever Paco Rabanne nightclub show. During his career, he’s also been the official DJ for Mac/Estee Lauder, DKNY, Galliano and more.

That success has been translated into the club circuit as well. His passport is packed with entry stamps to countries around the world. Some of his most-profile gigs include Space, Privilege and Pacha in Ibiza, Space Miami and 1015 Folsom in San Francisco, Discotheque in Barcelona, Ministry of Sound in London, Cafe Del Mar in Mumbai and dozens more across Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East.

Away from the decks and catwalks, he’s a noted music producer, blending his Persian heritage with his spiritual musical mantra to create a breath-taking array of music spanning chill out plus a darker, late-night DeepTek sound. To date, he’s released several artist albums and worked with global labels like EMI/Capitol and Virgin, plus cutting-edge labels including Yoshitoshi, Peppermint Jam, Kingstreet and more.

If you only have time to check out one release, make sure it’s his KaRavan triple album. The 24-hour journey starts at dawn and builds through sunset, midnight and sunrise, creating a seamless and timeless dance music journey all about peace, love and unity.

But perhaps his greatest achievements have been in the UAE which has been his home for 22 years. He was instrumental in the much-copied but never-bettered Buddha Bar concept, combining classical Indian singers and tabla players with DJ sets that span deep, spiritual and soulful music from across the world. And he was also the Entertainment Director at Pacha Ibiza Dubai, the short-lived but much-loved venture that helped make Dubai’s clubbing scene truly global.

That acclaim has seen him become an in-demand brand ambassador, working alongside Puma, Hublot and even creating his own KaRavan collection for Madison New York Timepieces. Pierre has now launched his own Spiritual Chic fashion label KaRavan by Essa.

Where 2020/2021 has been a tough year for everyone, Pierre has continued to look for the positives, holding webinars and interviews during the Covid-19 pandemic aimed at helping young DJs, producers, entrepreneurs, designers and fashion labels regroup and bounce back quickly. Like all the best leaders, Pierre is always learning and adding new skills.

Poranguí

Reared among the three cultures of Brazil, Mexico and the U.S., Poranguí was steeped in various traditional forms of music, healing and ceremony since birth. Drawing from his cross-cultural background and ethnomusicology training at Duke University, Poranguí has over twenty years of international work experience as an artist, musician, educator, filmmaker, consultant and therapist, utilizing the healing properties of sound and movement to foster our individual and collective well being.

As a live looping musician, world soul artist and one-man orchestra Poranguí weaves ancestral songs and indigenous rhythms from around the globe. Creating his performances from scratch using looping technology, Poranguí’s live grooves range from meditative to dance party, moving the body, lifting the spirit, and transcending the divide between performer and audience. An evening with Poranguí might take you on a journey from deep, earthy didgeridoo grooves to high-vibe ecstatic Brazilian beats to blissful African kalimba lullabies. Serenades and storytelling to beat boxing and booty shaking: Together, these make an unforgettable experience.

His World Soul concerts have been hosted by The Chopra Institute, TEDx, and SXSW Yoga. He has performed for Lightning in a Bottle, Symbiosis, Beloved Festival, Sonic Bloom, Sedona Yoga Festival, and Illuminate Film Festival and collaborated with Rising Appalachia, Desert Dwellers, Climbing PoeTree, Shamans Dream, Liquid Bloom, Ayla Nereo, and many others.

In sound design and media production, Poranguí recently worked with director Mitch Schultz (“DMT: The Spirit Molecule”) and executive producer, Aubrey Marcus on “Ayahuasca”, a documentary set in the Amazon. The soundtrack to this film, released in 2016, is Poranguí’s debut solo album. 2017 brought a Remix album of Ayahuasca presented by Shamans Dream and released under Desert Trax label, and a forthcoming Live solo album for the spring of 2018.

In his parallel practice as a therapeutic bodyworker providing individual sessions in private practice, Poranguí draws on his academic background in neuroscience, his family legacy in the healing arts, and his training as a licensed massage therapist. His “Myorhythmic Release” technique combines the healing properties of sound, movement, and breath, supporting clients from all backgrounds and health conditions in finding freedom from the limitations and suffering of old patterns and trauma.

Klára Hajdinová

Herečka, akrobatka, performerka. Vystudovala herectví na VOŠH u Mileny Steinmasslové. Kromě zkušeností z českých divadelních scén (Divadlo A.Dvořáka v Příbrami, Národní divadlo, Divadlo v Horních Počernicích) má za s sebou také zahraniční projekty (Mezinárodní divadlo Meteorit v Bratislavě).

Je spoluzakladatelkou nezávislého divadelního souboru Taking Off Company (Oblíbenci – Palác Akropolis, autorský bytový projekt M.E.). Zahrála si v několika studentských filmech a v epizodních rolích hrála v několika českých seriálech (První krok, Přešlapy, Vyprávěj, Modrý kód). Po studiích se několik let intenzivně věnovala moderování (Public tv, Óčko tv), pro ČT moderovala pořad Rande s fyzikou a její hlas je také spojen s rádiem Rockzone 105,9 kde pracovala jako speaker. Zkušenost má i s dabingem a namlouváním jak reklamních spotů tak například dokumentů.

Novému cirkusu se věnuje od roku 2011. Její specialiazací je párová akrobacie, vzdušná akrobacie na šále – sólová a párová; na kruhu a dalších závěsných objektech a akrobacie v sedáku (vertical dance). Jako akrobatku jste ji mohli vidět ve Studiu Dva (Vánoční koleda), v projektu Dynamo Cirkusu Mlejn, v Rockopeře (Sedm proti Thébám), v Divadle J.K.Tyla v Plzni (Divá Bára), v divadle Minor (O smolíčkovi), v městském divadle v Karlových Varech (Havrane z kamene), v řadě barokních oper (Smetanova Litomyšl – Nové Hrady, Valtice, barokní divadlo Český Krumlov) a v představení Funus – Bratři v tricku (Jatka78). Účastnila se také projektu Cique Lanka (Colombo, Sri Lanka). V Itálii vystupuje v projektu Macchine all´in Circa se souborem Circo all´in Circa (Udine). Podílí se pravidelně na akrobatických show Aigym Art Company, Art Prom, Cirque Garuda, Art4people,..

Se svým partnerem, italským žonlglérem a akrobatem Mattiou Comisso, vystupují jako cirkusové duo Circo Frico. Společně vytvořili pouliční show Frico Take Away a celovečerní novocirkusové představení Bibi2. Účinkují společně ale také v řadě dalších projektů. Jako cirkusový lektor působila v Cirqueonu – centru pro nový cirkus, v KD Mlejn v Praze a přiležitostně také v Airgym a v Circo all´in Circa v Udine. Jako herečka i jako akrobatka natočila několik reklamních spotů.
